Weekend Routes: Saturday & Sunday, 24 hours
Shopping Center Routes: Sundays, 3 -6 p.m.; Wednesdays, 5 -8 p.m. (Fall and Spring semesters only)
On-Campus Routes
Crimson Ride provides on-campus transportation throughout UA, connecting riders with academic buildings, residence halls, parking areas and other key campus destinations. Explore the routes below to find the service that works best for your trip.

Apartment Routes
Crimson Ride provides apartment shuttle service between participating apartment communities and campus. Service operates differently during the day and evening, so riders should check the route and service hours that apply to their trip.
Daytime Apartment Routes (7 a.m. -7 p.m.)
During daytime service, individual routes serve specific apartment communities. Select your apartment below to view its route, stops and current service information.
Evening Apartment Routes (7 -9 p.m.)
Beginning at 7 p.m., apartment service transitions to combined routes serving multiple apartment communities within the same area.

Summer 2027 Routes
May 10 -August 1, 2027
Monday -Friday, 7 a.m. -7 p.m.
Road closures will impact drivability, and drivers will detour as necessary. During the summer semesters, there will be no weekend service. One bus will be on standby during limited-service periods to service apartment complexes on call.
Off-Campus Routes
Shopping Shuttle
Sundays, 3 -6 p.m.; Wednesdays, 5 -8 p.m.Crimson Ride offers schedules shopping transportation during the fall and spring semesters. Students can use the service to reach nearby retail destinations and complete routine errands from campus.
Routes will begin at the Campus Drive Parking Deck with stops at Midtown Village, University Mall, Target and Aldi.
College Break Bus
Pickup and drop-off on campus at Presidential Village and Tutwiler Parking Deck.College Break Bus offers student-only transportation between UA and the Birmingham and Atlanta airports during select fall, Thanksgiving, winter and spring breaks.

Tuscaloosa Trolley
Fixed routes Monday -Friday, 5 a.m. – 6 p.m.The 4 p.m. run is the last route to catch to transfer from one bus to another at the main terminal.
Students, faculty and staff can ride Tuscaloosa Transit’s University Shuttle at no charge. The city-operated route connects campus with downtown and other destinations in Tuscaloosa.
