Crimson Concierge is an on-demand transportation service that helps eligible UA faculty and staff travel to meetings without using a personal vehicle or searching for parking near their destination.
Registered faculty and staff can use TripShot to plan pickup and drop-off service within the Crimson Concierge service area. Service is available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and includes the main campus and University Services Campus near Helen Keller Boulevard.

New Users
New to Crimson Concierge? Follow the directions below.New users should email crimsonconcierge@ua.edu requesting a Crimson Concierge account, using their UA email address.
Once Crimson Ride staff have verified faculty/staff status, you will receive further details on how to begin using TripShot for Crimson Concierge rides.
Previous Users
If you used Crimson Concierge through Passio GO, follow the directions below.Previous Crimson Concierge users should login to the TripShot app by entering University of Alabama for the service name, then selecting “Log in with TripShot”.
Next, select “Forgot password?” to receive your username and change/update your password. Once your password is reset you may login and begin using TripShot for Crimson Concierge rides.
On Demand/Crimson Concierge
For previous Crimson Concierge users, download the TripShot app and enter University of Alabama for the service name. Then select Login with TripShot and choose Forgot Password. Use your primary UA email address to set your password.
Once logged in, follow the steps below to request a Crimson Concierge ride.
Select On Demand in the TripShot app
Select destination
Tap the “Where would you like to go?” box to see available options or “Choose on map” to select an existing stop or drag the map to drop the pin to your preferred location.
No On Demand/Crimson Concierge services are available in the red areas.
Review pickup/dropoff location and times
Select Request Ride once have confirmed your ride details.
Ride details will be shown once requested
- Real-time location and accurate ETA’s
- Driver and vehicle details
- Cancel the ride if needed
On Demand/Crimson Concierge ride will display on the Home screen
After the ride has been requested, you can view the request directly from the TripShot home screen.
Use the Sidebar Menu to view rides
Open the sidebar menu and select My Trips to view your On Demand/Crimson Concierge rides.
